Security film is a thick, clear layer bonded to the inside of the glass you already have. When glass is struck, the film holds the broken pieces together in the frame, so a forced entry takes longer and slows down at the exact point staff need time. It is a risk-mitigation layer for entrances, vestibules, ground-floor windows and door sidelights, installed without replacing the glass.
We walk your buildings, identify the entry points that matter most, and give you a written recommendation. Film is installed in place, and on doors and large panes it can be anchored to the frame with an attachment system. Work can be scheduled for summer, holidays or after hours so classes are not interrupted.
No. Security film does not make glass bulletproof, and no product can promise that. What it does is delay forced entry and keep glass in place, which buys staff time to lock down and call for help. It works best alongside locked vestibules, cameras, access control and trained staff.
Yes. Many districts and private schools start with main entrances and ground-floor glass, then add buildings by priority and budget. We can provide a phased plan with a written scope for each building.
Some school safety and security grants cover window film and other physical hardening. Rules vary by program, so we provide a written scope and quote you can attach to an application.
Call 402-251-5360 or book online. We will walk your campus, point out the highest-priority openings and send a written recommendation at no cost.
